“The Nothing Squad” is the black sheep of the police precinct. It’s the team in charge
of the most unexpected and nonsensical crimes in the city, the kind the other police
departments keep away from.
In theory, the Squad deals only with smaller crooks, thieves, investigations with low angst, nothing relevant that could further up a career.
If only their working days were that easy!
The four policemen, our heroes, are dubbed the “The Nothing Squad” because of an old
Amerindian joke that ends in “Your name is YourGoodForNothing” and which describes well their work performance.
As the Squad attempts to solve the cases they come across, their investigations and personal relationships become more and more (hilariously) complicated and, by the end of the season, they’ll get to know the face of one of the most feared mobsters of Bucharest, the elusive criminal Bulgaru’.
Produced in 2024 and broadcasted an year later, first season was and is tailored for 13 episodes, but the series’ potential is as a multi-season series.
