The Company

A Bold Beginning. A Story in the Making.

Back in 2007, we – Marian Ene and Bogdan Nicolescu – embarked on a bold and passionate journey to bring fresh energy to the television industry. From the very beginning, our projects laid a solid foundation for what would become a long-lasting and visionary company.

Some of the productions that shaped our early identity include: “Memories” for Romantica Channel, “The Football Fans Championship” for Prima TV, “All Those Laughs” for Antena 1, and “Overdraft Family” for TVR.

Throughout our journey, we’ve encountered key turning points – moments of transformation sparked by the shows we brought to life. Among them, we’re proud to highlight:

The Phone

An award-winning format, honored with both the Rose d’Or and an International Emmy – The Phone marked a turning point for us. It challenged and redefined our production standards, setting a creative benchmark that we’ve proudly maintained and elevated ever since.

In Romania, The Phone quickly became a reference in high-quality reality television. Its cinematic look, fast-paced storytelling, and innovative concept captivated viewers and brought a fresh perspective to local TV production. For us, it was not just a show – it was a statement of what Romanian television could become.

Benidorm Bastards

A triple-awarded format – Rose d’Or, International Emmy, and BAFTA – Benidorm Bastards became our biggest success on the Romanian TV market at the time. It not only won the hearts of local audiences but also solidified our reputation as experts in adapting international formats to fit the unique taste and humor of Romanian viewers.

This project marked a key milestone in our journey, proving our creative flexibility and deep understanding of what truly resonates with local audiences.

Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?

This iconic format opened new horizons for us. It gave us the opportunity to produce for the Republic of Moldova, marking our first step beyond Romania’s borders and paving the way for future international collaborations.

A true milestone, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? showcased our ability to deliver high-quality productions across different markets – and confirmed our readiness to think and create beyond boundaries.

Wheel of Fortune

We brought this beloved international format back to life for Romanian audiences – now celebrating its 12th season on Kanal D. Wheel of Fortune reaffirmed our expertise in adapting global entertainment to local expectations, strengthening our creative and strategic presence in the Romanian media landscape.

Extreme Make Over: Home Edition

The “jewel in our crown” – both in terms of production scale and emotional impact. Now in its 8th season on Romania’s No.1 station, Pro TV, the show brings together over 200 people per episode – including volunteers, construction crews, architects, interior designers, and decorators – united by one mission: transforming lives by rebuilding homes.
It’s more than television. It’s purpose-driven storytelling.

Win Your Country!

An original Zucchero Media format that made waves internationally from the moment it launched. In 2017, it was featured at the Eurovision Creative Forum, hosted by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Just a year later, it earned a finalist spot at the prestigious International Format Awards 2018 in the category “Best Studio-Based Game Show Format.”
A proud example of Romanian creativity with global appeal.

The National Folk Star

Developed in partnership with the public broadcaster TVR, this is the first talent show in Romania dedicated exclusively to folklore – celebrating traditional music, customs, and cultural heritage.
An original format that honors the past while inspiring a new generation.
